These terms govern your use of INVENTRI — a product discovery platform connecting buyers to merchants worldwide. By creating an account or using INVENTRI, you agree to these terms.

1. What INVENTRI is — and isn't

INVENTRI is a discovery platform. We help buyers find products and the merchants who carry them, whether nearby or online. We surface information about merchant inventory, pricing, and location.

Important: INVENTRI is not a marketplace and does not process payments, handle logistics, hold inventory, or act as a party to any transaction between a buyer and a merchant. Any purchase, payment, or exchange happens directly between you and the merchant, on the merchant's own terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account on INVENTRI. By using INVENTRI, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate.

3. Accounts

To use certain features, you'll need to create an account as a buyer or merchant. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at discover@inventri.ai if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Terms for buyers

Search results are provided for informational and discovery purposes. We make reasonable efforts to keep listings accurate and current, but cannot guarantee that every price, product, or stock status is fully up to date at the moment you view it.
Any transaction you complete with a merchant — pricing, delivery, returns, refunds — is solely between you and that merchant. INVENTRI is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or availability of any product listed.
Your search history and saved items are used to improve your experience and may inform a personal taste profile, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Terms for merchants

You are responsible for the accuracy of the product information, pricing, and availability you list on INVENTRI.
The 7-day freshness rule: to maintain trust in our index, merchant listings are automatically hidden from buyer search results if not refreshed within 7 days. This is a core operating principle of INVENTRI and applies to all merchants equally.
Listing on INVENTRI is currently free. We reserve the right to introduce paid tiers or premium features in the future, which will be clearly communicated and never silently applied to your existing free listing without notice.
You may not list counterfeit, illegal, or prohibited goods. We reserve the right to remove listings or suspend accounts that violate this.
You retain ownership of your business and product information. By listing it on INVENTRI, you grant us a license to display, index, and make it discoverable to buyers through our platform.

6. Automatically indexed listings

INVENTRI may automatically discover and index publicly available product information from links submitted by merchants or found through public sources (such as public Instagram pages or websites), in order to populate the discovery index and reduce manual data entry. These listings are marked as unclaimed and held in a limited state until the merchant claims, verifies, or requests removal of the listing. If you are a merchant and believe your business has been incorrectly indexed, contact us at discover@inventri.ai for prompt removal.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use INVENTRI for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to scrape, copy, or republish INVENTRI's index at scale without permission
Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent product or business information
Interfere with the security or proper functioning of the platform
Impersonate another person or business

8. Intellectual property

The INVENTRI name, logo, and platform design are the property of Inventri. Merchant product content remains the property of the respective merchant. Buyers and merchants retain ownership of any content they submit, subject to the license granted to INVENTRI to operate the discovery service as described above.

9. Disclaimers

INVENTRI is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that search results will be fully complete or accurate at all times. We are actively improving the platform and its data quality on an ongoing basis.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, INVENTRI and its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to losses arising from transactions conducted with merchants discovered through INVENTRI, inaccurate listings, or service interruptions.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to other users or the platform.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time as INVENTRI evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the platform before they take effect.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your own country of residence.
